Bus Trip: ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, MI
Join ISSA as we visit Grand Rapids, Michigan for Artprize, the world’s largest open art competition.
For 18 days every Fall, bars, public parks, restaurants, theaters, hotels, bridges, laundromats, auto body shops, vacant storefronts, and office spaces join museums and galleries in hosting hundreds of artists’ work throughout Grand Rapids, MI. Enjoy exploring the 1500 or so artists that participate.
This trip includes a 90 minute visit to the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park;.
International students, scholars, post docs, and spouses are invited to sign up.
Cost is $20 (includes transportation & Meijer Garden entrance). Participants are responsible for their own lunch expenses.
