Immigration Q&A for F-1 and J-1 Visa Holders

Location: Duncan Student Center, Meeting Room 1 North, W134

This after hours Q&A session is for all F-1 and J-1 visa holders to stop by and ask any immigration-related questions of an ISSA immigration advisor. With upcoming breaks, May graduation, and OPT application deadlines, this is the time to ask your status questions and get the answers you need.

Students have checked in to ask about:

  • the OPT timeline,
  • program extensions,
  • travel signatures,
  • change of status,
  • J-1 Academic Training, 
  • how to get a social security number,
  • or adding a dependent.
