Minors: Business-Economics and Chinese
Clubs / Extracurricular Activities: Filipino American Student Organization (FASO), Asian American Association (AAA), International Student Admissions Board (ISAB), and the Psychology Club
Hi! My name is Martina. I was born in the Philippines but grew up in Singapore. I am a rising junior and live in McGlinn Hall. I’m a Psychology major with minors in Business-Economics and Chinese. On campus, I am involved with the Filipino American Student Organization, Asian American Association, International Student Admissions Board, and Psychology Club. My favorite part about being an international student is being able to bring in fresh perspectives and different experiences, not only in the classroom but also during the everyday conversations I have with my friends. One of my favorite things about Notre Dame is the supportive and welcoming community, everyone just wants to see you succeed! But, whenever I feel a bit lost or confused, The Grotto is my favorite place to go to on campus— it always manages to engulf me in a warm embrace…even during the coldest months.
Favorite ND Moment
My favorite moment at Notre Dame was going to my first football game (where we beat Michigan) and doing touchdown push-ups!
