Minors: French and Sustainability
Clubs / Extracurricular Activities: Women in Physics Club, Curling Club, NDnano Undergraduate Research Fellowship, Undergraduate Physics Research, Math/Physics Tutor at LRC
I'm Kathleen and I'm a senior majoring in Physics with minors in Sustainability and French. I am originally from Toronto, Canada, and I'm living off campus but my home for the last three years has been PW (roll weasels!). I am co-President of the Women in Physics club, a member of the Curling club, and involved in research on campus through the NDnano Undergraduate Research Fellowship and the Physics department. I also tutor math and physics at the Learning Resource Center and I am an usher at DPAC. On campus, I love to hang out with my friends on the quads, and I'm excited to explore South Bend more now that I'm living off campus! Notre Dame has truly been my home since day one and I'm excited to welcome you to the amazing community!
Favorite ND Moment
My favorite experience at ND has to be the first Curling club practice I went to. Everyone was so friendly and I had a lot of fun. It was a great way to get out of my room and meet some new people who love curling as much as I do!
Advice for Incoming International Students
You'll hear this a lot, but get involved! The more things you get involved in the more communities you'll be a part of! Whether its a club, student council, research, or a job, exploring your interests will help you feel more at home. And you get to make new friends that share your interests!
