Minor: Business Economics
Clubs / Extracurricular Activities: Latino Student Alliance, Frontline, Undergraduate Admissions Club

Hello! My name is Andrea Sánchez and I am a rising sophomore majoring in Political Science with a minor in Business Economics. I was born and raised in Nicaragua, a small country in Central America, but on campus I live in Lyons Hall (aka the pride of Notre Dame). In my free time, I love ice skating with my friends at the ice arena, or grabbing a half-vanilla, half-hazelnut iced latte at Haggerty (would recommend, it’s really good). I am also involved in clubs like the Latino Student Alliance (LSA) and the Undergraduate Admissions Club. My favorite part about being at Notre Dame is the people. Everyone, from your hallmates to the dining hall staff, is always willing to help you and make you feel home. So, never hesitate to reach out to anyone in case you need help or advice!

Welcome to Notre Dame, I can’t wait to meet you this fall!

Favorite ND Moment

My favorite moment at Notre Dame was when I lost my phone under the snow after the snowball fight and 20 random people helped me look for it for over 2 hours. That's when I realized that Notre Dame was really a special place.
