Students in F-1 and J-1 status at the University of Notre Dame will find the answers to many of their immigration related questions by clicking on the appropriate links below. Links to various immigration request forms are also included below. Please note that all students must allow at least 2 weeks for all immigration requests to be processed unless otherwise noted on the request form.
As F-1 and J-1 international students, you are responsible for maintaining your lawful immigration status in the United States. You can also visit the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or State Department websites.

SPECIAL NOTE: J-1 students with DS-2019 forms issued by other agencies or organizations (other than the University of Notre Dame) must address all employment and immigration questions and requests to your sponsoring agency/organization directly.
