Notre Dame’s Immigration Services Office (ISO), which is part of International Student Services & Activities (ISSA), provides immigration assistance and advice to all F-1 and J-1 international students and dependents at Notre Dame. The ISO, located in 105 Main Building, helps to educate and remind all F-1 and J-1 students about their immigration rules, responsibilities, deadlines and benefits; processes important immigration requests (for travel signatures, work authorizations, dependent documents, etc.); offers helpful information sessions; and produces informative publications, forms, and applications to help you maintain lawful status. The Immigration Services Office staff look forward to serving you!

Office Hours

The Immigration Services Office has walk-in hours Monday – Friday from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with no appointment necessary. Morning meetings between 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. require an appointment, so please contact the ISO at 574-631-5243 or undiso@nd.edu to schedule a meeting time. Walk-in hours are strictly enforced.

International Student Services and Activities-Programs

For questions about ISSA-Programs please contact the ISSA-Programs staff at (574) 631-3825 or issa@nd.edu. The ISSA-Programs staff are also located in 105 Main Building and are available for walk-in service Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Please Note: Both International Student Services & Activities (ISSA) offices (ISSA-Programs and the Immigration Services Office) moved to 105 Main Building on Friday, May 13. ISSA, which is now part of Notre Dame International, shares a location with the Office of International Studies (OIS) and Notre Dame International staff.
