About Us
In 1969, Rev. Daniel O’Neil, C.S.C., established International Student Services & Activities (ISSA), at the University of Notre Dame to advise and support the international student community. Today, the staff members at ISSA are proud to carry on Rev. O’Neil’s important mission by providing a wide variety of support services and programs to all international students and their families. ISSA is part of Notre Dame International, located in 105 Main Building.
The ISSA-Programs staff are responsible for providing services and programs to international students and their families. These services include pre-arrival correspondence, orientation for new international students, newsletters, general advising, counseling, resource and referral, cultural education and community outreach.
Immigration Services Office staff advise all international students on matters related to maintaining immigration status and offer other services such as issuance of I-20/DS-2019, and assistance in applying for employment authorization and change of status.
